Welcome to ABD Equestrian, a one-of-a-kind, full-service equestrian facility located in the heart of Massachusetts horse country. We proudly offer lessons, training, sales, boarding, leasing, and showing opportunities. All ages are welcome —whether you’re a lifelong horse lover, a competitive rider with big goals, or just starting your journey in the saddle, ABD Equestrian truly has something for everyone.

Our barn is known for its supportive, low-key atmosphere where the happiness and well-being of both horse and rider always come first. That said, we also embrace the competitive side of the equestrian world and love helping riders challenge themselves, set goals, and succeed in and out of the show ring. From first lessons to serious competition, we meet riders where they are and help them grow.

With a wonderful string of kind, quality horses, our lesson program is suitable for all ages and experience levels, from young beginners to adult amateurs. And yes, we proudly welcome our adult riders and the ever-growing, supportive, and fun “old lady gang” - because it’s never too late to ride, learn, compete, or simply enjoy horses with a great community.

Since 2020, founder and owner Allyssa B. Dean has been making equestrian dreams a reality. With over a decade of experience across multiple sectors of the industry and a degree in Equine Studies, Allyssa’s expertise continues to positively shape the lives of both horses and riders. She also proudly coaches the Boston College IHSA and ABD Equestrian IEA teams, blending horsemanship, teamwork, and competitive excellence.
